Handlung

Stacey, eine brillante, überdurchschnittlich begabte Astrobiologie Studentin am Fenton College, hatte nur einen weiteren einsamen Spring Break auf dem Campus geplant. Doch als ein Hurrikan die kleine College-Stadt trifft, sind Stacey und ihre Freunde im schlechteseten Moment von der Außenwelt angeschnitten: inmitten einer Alien-Invasion.

Während Weltrauminsekten in Studenten und Angestellte zu nisten beginnen, um sie in sabbernde, keifende Monster zu verwandeln, muss sich eine Ansammlung von Außenseitern zusammenschließen, um zu verhindern, dass der Befall sich ausbreitet. Inzwischen beginnen Staceys lange gehegte romantische Gefühle für Charlotte aufzutauchen, während der Professor, den sie bewunderte nun zum schlimmsten Feind der Schüler wurde.

Illustriert mit enormem Witz und Dynamik - Ein Mix von klassischen Dingen aus Science-Fiction, Indie-Comics, B-Filmen und Campus-Kultur - ist diese Graphic Novel etwas anderes; es ist eine groß angelegte Action/Abenteuergeschichte vom Standpunkt einer zeitgenössischen, realistischen Heldin.
